The Sparwood Public Library, located at 110 Pine Avenue, is open from 10am to 8pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 5pm Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and 12 noon to 4pm on Sundays (until 5pm on Sundays from November to March).
Library cards are free to anyone living in Sparwood which allows you to access the library’s physical and digital collections. The library also offers a number of programs for youth and adults. Non-residents can purchase a temporary card for $10.00 which is valid for 6 months or if you are a member of another BC Library, you may be eligible for a BC OneCard.
A drop in program where you can interact with your baby through song, play and stories.
Wednesdays 10:30 - 11:00 am
A drop in program where children 18 months up to preschool age can come and enjoy a half hour of fun. Singing, dancing, playing games and stories.
Wednesdays 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
A drop in program where children 3 - 5 years old can come without their parents to make crafts, read stories and develop independent skills.
Thursday 1:30 - 2:30 pm
