Notice of Meeting

A meeting of the Parcel Tax Review Panel will take place on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 6:45 p.m. in Council Chambers, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, BC, regarding the following bylaws:

  • Sewer and Water Reserve Replenishment Parcel Tax Assessment Roll Bylaw 1091, 2012
  • Michel Creek Road Water Extension Local Service Area Parcel Tax Assessment Roll Bylaw 1122, 2013

The purpose of the Hearing is to receive complaints on one or more of the following grounds:

a) There is an error or omission respecting a name or address on the parcel tax roll;

b) There is an error or omission respecting the inclusion of a parcel; and/or

c) An exemption has been improperly allowed, or disallowed;

A complaint shall not be heard by the Panel unless written notice of the complaint has been made to the office of the Director of Finance prior to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday April 26, 2018.

The parcel tax assessment rolls are open for inspection at the District Office during regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
