Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, BC, to consider a proposed amendment to the District of Sparwood “Mobile Home Parks Bylaw No. 288, 1982”.

In general terms, Bylaw 1074 cited as "Mobile Home Parks Bylaw No. 288, 1982, Amendment Bylaw 1074, 2011" will allow for larger accessory buildings in mobile home parks by adding definitions and conditions for accessory buildings as shown in the attached notice.
All persons who believe that their interest is affected by the proposed bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard in person, by a representative, or by written submission on the matters contained within Bylaw 1074 at the Public Hearing. Written submissions may be sent to the District of Sparwood, Box 520, Sparwood, BC V0B 2G0. Electronic submissions by email should be sent to email@example.com. Please note that due to potential email issues, all submissions sent by email should be confirmed by phone at the number listed below. These submissions must be received by no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 6th, 2011 in order to ensure their availability to Council at the Public Hearing. All submissions must include your name and street address and are considered public information, pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Following the close of the Public Hearing, no further submissions or comments from the public or interested persons can be accepted by members of Council.
