Getting Here

Getting here is simple! We're located on Highway #3, one of Canada's major cross-country thoroughfares. We're only a couple of hours and a scenic drive from airports. Just jump on Highway #3 and head out here!

Car Travel

Calgary is a 2 ½ hour drive northeast.  To the west Cranbrook is a 1 ½ hour drive, Vancouver is approximately an 11 hour drive.  

Air Travel

The Canadian Rockies International Airport is just 1.5 hours west of Sparwood. The Calgary International Airport is 308 km northeast of Sparwood and Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell, Montana is 218 km southwest.  Sparwood’s 4000 ft. airstrip, 8 km north of the town, is available for use by private aircraft.

Public Transportation

Greyhound Canada operates two buses per day to destinations east and west.  BC Transit operates the Elkford, Fernie, Sparwood Loop from Monday through Friday.  The nearest taxi service is based in Fernie.
