The District compiles a list of all business licences that have been issued for businesses operating within the District of Sparwood.
The Business Licence Directory which is updated on a monthly basis includes the business location and telephone contact number.
Inter-Community Business Licence (ICBL) Program
A new program commenced in January, 2017, which makes it easier for mobile businesses to conduct business throughout the Elk Valley. With the introduction of the ICBL Program, mobile businesses have the option of purchasing an additional business licence from the District that permits them to operate in Fernie and Elkford as well. The ICBL licence carries an annual fee of $100 on top of the $100 regular business licence fee.
