Council identified the redevelopment of the Fire Hall #2 as a strategic priority to ensure for adequate fire protection in Sparwood Heights. A conceptual plan has been developed and we would like to hear your thoughts. Join us on Thursday, April 8 at 7:00 pm in a virtual open house where S2 Architecture will present the concept plans and District Staff will be able to answer your questions. The total project costs, including contingencies, is estimate at $4.6 million.

February 2021 - Sparwood Livability Study: Community Grading Survey
We are now accepting responses for the 2021 Community Grading Survey. Please take 10 minutes to provide your views on the quality of life in Sparwood. The information collected this year will be used to produce the 2021 Livability Report Card. The Report Card and is updated annually to understand, measure, and monitor the quality of life in Sparwood.

Council Facts is a publication by the District of Sparwood which summarizes the key decisions of Council. Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise changed or cancelled by resolution. The public is encouraged to attend regular Council, Committee of the Whole and Council Committee meetings. Copies of agenda packages and minutes are available online at www.Sparwood.ca. Current agendas are available by the preceding Friday afternoon. Video recordings of regular meetings are available on the District’s website at https://sparwood.ca/council-videos within 24 hours of the meeting.
