District Launches Emergency Information Line

he District of Sparwood has now set up an emergency information telephone line for residents who may not have access to internet, or use the web or social media to find information or updates. This number is not staffed, but will provide a recording of the most up to date information on the Cummings Creek Wildfire.

If you have friends, family or neighbours who do not use the internet, please share this information with them. The number is 250.425.6834.

For those who are most vulnerable, we would like to remind residents about the Vulnerable Person Registry. This voluntary and free program helps to identify those who would need extra assistance in an emergency. For more information on this program visit https://sparwood.ca/residents/emergency-services/.
