In accordance with Section 26 of the Community Charter, District of Sparwood Council hereby provides notice of its intention to dispose of the following land by sale, subject to the terms and conditions of a sales agreement approved by Council on May 4, 2021:

The District of Sparwood invites development proposals from interested developers for the purchase of the above-noted property for $435,000. The proposal offer shall include a 10% deposit of $43,500 along with a detailed proposal and signed sales agreement. The District of Sparwood is interested in development and is not interested in only selling the land.
The District of Sparwood does not have a Development Cost Charges (DCC) Bylaw. This parcel is serviced with community water services. The purchaser will be required to pay the Sewer Connection Fee of $65,674 on the closing date. The cost of installing a sewer service into the property is borne by the purchaser.
