The outdoor ice rink in Sparwood Heights is now open. The rink will be open from dawn until 10:00 pm daily with the lights on from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Please remember that this is a natural ice surface so ice conditions will vary depending on the weather. The District has provided two snow shovels for clearing the snow. Please leave them at the ice rink. The ice rink is user-maintained, snow clearing will need to be completed by anyone that would like to use it.
Lions Park Skating Loop is in the final stages of completion. We will update residents via social media, the website and RecDesk as soon as the ice is ready for use. Until it is ready please stay off.
