Are you interested in being a voice regarding recreation in Sparwood? Would you like to be an advocate for your organization, networks and the community?
The District of Sparwood is requesting applications for volunteers to participate in the Recreation Facility
Advisory Committee (RFAC) with the goal of exploring the development of a new multi purpose community facility.

Prior to submitting your name for consideration by Council please review the Terms of Reference.
Additionally, selected members will need to be available for regular meetings over an approximate 12 to 24 month period and be willing to be advocates in the community for the project. Expected meeting time commitments will be monthly meetings up to 3 hours in duration for three to four months following establishment of the Committee, moving to bimonthly meetings up to 3 hours in duration. There will be a mandatory meeting beginning at 6:00 pm on September 24.
Committee members must be open to all ideas and concepts and be committed to act in the role of a liaison, communicating and gathering feedback from their respective focus areas, networks and members of the public. The District will be accepting applications until Friday, July 12 with appointments to be made by Council on Tuesday, August 6.
